The Elgato 4Kx is an external HDMI 2.1 capture card that represents the future of capturing needs for the latest generation of consoles, dual PC setups, and more. It is the successor to the popular HD 60x and brings several exciting upgrades, such as higher resolution and frame rate capabilities, variable refresh rate pass through, and HDR pass through and capture. The 4Kx is compatible with Windows, Mac, and iPads and can be used with Elgato's 4K capture utility software, OBS Studio, or other software. It features a USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 gbits per second interface and supports a wide range of resolutions and frame rates, including up to 4K 144 FPS HDR, 1440p 240 FPS HDR, and 1080p 240 FPS HDR for pass through and capture.
